Last week we went to one of Tyler's favorite places--Raleigh Running Outfitters, a.k.a. "the running store". RRO is Tim's primary racing sponsor and Jim, the owner, is one of the nicest guys around. Tyler loves going to the running store because there are toys to play with (Jim has two little ones of his own that are often at the store) and Jim always gives him something. Sometimes it's a sticker or a snack, but this time Jim gave Tyler and Nathan some Saucony sweatbands and Tyler even got a Saucony drawstring bag.
Tim told Tyler that he could use the bag for his running shoes, so as soon as we got home, Tyler took off his New Balances and stuck them in his bag. Then, he and Nathan both wanted to wear their headbands as they ran laps around our main floor. Tyler loves anything to do with running (he actually asked to watch "tack and field" today) and Nathan loves to do anything that Tyler is doing, so there's a chance we'll have two little runners someday.
Here are some photos I took one morning when they were sporting their new gear. Nathan, in particular, looks like such a bruiser with his headband.
